"Das obere eines äthiopischen Opals auf einem Kunstwerk brach ab. Ich war erst sehr traurig, dass der Opal seine ursprüngliche Fassung verloren hatte, konnte es dann aber so akzeptieren. Dann schien eines Tages plötzlich die Sonne hinein - was für ein Farbenspiel wurde mir geschenkt! Da war ich dankbar, dass das "Mißgeschick" passiert war. Wie oft habe ich auch aus scheinbaren Unfällen auf Kunstwerken neue Techniken und Serien entwickelt.
... eine großartige Symbolik.... --> Mißgeschicke als Chance zu sehen, zu üben sie anzunehmen, sie sogar als Geschenk zu sehen, dann kann die Sonne ins Innere scheinen und es erhellen mit Unerwartetem wie Ideen und Einsichten.
Für mich hat dieser äthiopische Opal eine besonder Faszination, das Kunstwerk arbeitet mit mir seit einigen Jahren. Die Leuchtkraft und das Farbenspiel sind so stark. Der Opal unterstützt meine Lebensfreude und Kreativität, das bei mir Bleiben und meine Seele wahrnehmen und hilft bei seelischer Erschöpfung wieder zu mir zu kommen. Das Kunstwerk darf jetzt in die Welt hinaus und ein neues Heim bekommen."

"The top of an Ethiopian opal on an artwork broke off. At first I was very sad that the opal had lost its original version, but then I could accept it. Then one day the sun suddenly shone in - what a play of colours was given to me! I was grateful that the "misfortune" had happened. How often have I developed new techniques and series from apparent accidents on artworks.
... a great symbolism .... --> To see misfortunes as a chance, to practice to accept them, even to see them as a gift, then the sun can shine inside and illuminate the inside with
unexpected ideas and insights.
For me this Ethiopian opal has a special fascination, the artwork has been working with me for several years. The luminosity and the play of colours are so strong. The opal supports my joy of life and creativity, staying with me and perceiving my soul and helps to come back to me in case of mental exhaustion. The artwork may now go out into the world and get a new home."
